Your Team Responsibilities

The Index Sales team is responsible for driving the adoption and commercial growth of MSCI indices across the French-speaking markets. We work closely with institutional investors, asset managers, private banks, and sell-side partners to understand their objectives and position MSCI index solutions for benchmarking, product development, and investment strategy.

The team manages client outreach and pipeline development, coordinates with Product, Marketing, Research, and Client Coverage, and ensures seamless execution from prospecting to onboarding. We also partner with the sell side to promote MSCI usage in structured products and derivatives, supporting revenue growth and strengthening MSCI’s presence across the French-speaking region.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand MSCI’s client coverage across the French-speaking region by identifying new prospects, supporting senior sales in client engagements, and managing early-stage outreach.
  • Support the full sales cycle, including pipeline management, preparation of pitch materials, coordination of meetings, and follow-up with institutional investors, asset managers, private banks, and intermediaries.
  • Collaborate with sell-side partners to promote MSCI indices in structured products and derivatives, contributing to product design discussions and commercial push initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Research, and Client Coverage teams to deliver tailored index solutions and respond to client needs.
  • Provide market and competitive intelligence to help refine go-to-market strategies and strengthen MSCI’s commercial positioning in the region.

  • Strong understanding of financial markets, equity and fixed‑income indices, and investment products, with the ability to translate technical concepts into client‑relevant insights.
  • Proven communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders across buy‑side and sell‑side institutions in the French‑speaking region.
  • High commercial drive, strong analytical mindset, and the capacity to identify opportunities, prioritize accounts, and support the execution of sales strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross‑functional environment, coordinating with Product, Research, Marketing, and Client Coverage teams.
  • Fluency in French and English, combined with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
