Position Overview

The Human Resources Manager (m / w / d) (part-time) is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support for our two locations in Germany. This role oversees day-to-day HR operations including recordkeeping, payroll processing and implementing best practices. The Human Resources Manager (m / w / d) manages the full recruitment process from screening resumes to onboarding new hires. This position also plays a key role in employee relations by addressing concerns, upholding company policies and ensuring compliance with German labor laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acts as the first point of contact for employees, the management team and the works council
  • Manages recruitment process, facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
  • Prepares and posts job advertisements, sources for candidates, screens applications, arranges and conducts interviews as required
  • Performs all onboarding tasks for new hires
  • Works alongside a small team to successfully complete day-to-day HR tasks
  • Completes operational HR tasks as needed including the preparation of payroll for our external payroll provider
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of federal and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Successfully handles a wide range of federal and employment law matters
  • Contributes to international HR projects within the Mycronic group as assigned

Experience and Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • Previous Human Resources experience within a global organization; 3 years preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations and 3 years of experience working directly in an HR department in an HR Generalist capacity

    • Coordinate annual processes: performance evaluations, engagement surveys, talent reviews, compensation planning.
    • Track mandatory and optional trainings.
    • Respond to HR information requests.
    • Support compliance and security activities.
  • Onboarding
    • Organize onboarding (documentation, orientation, manager support).
    • Monitor integration of new employees.
  • HR Data
    • Data entry and verification in the HRIS.
    • Manage personnel movements (hiring, departures, changes).
    • Filing and management of personnel records.
  • Profile
    • Bachelors or Masters in HR, administration or related field.
