A major HSE consulting firm is seeking an experienced HSE Coordinator located in Manosque, south of France. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in health, safety, and environment (HSE) within gas or construction sectors. The successful candidate will lead a site team, ensure compliance with safety standards, and promote a strong safety culture. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. This position will be for a duration of 6 months with a commitment of 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in HSE within gas, construction, or underground works.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to chair committees.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations in an industrial environment.

We are looking for a HSE Coordinator for one of our clients with the following details:

Manosque (south of France near Marseille)

Duration

6 months

Working Days

3 days per week

Qualifications and Experience required

• Minimum 5 years' experience in HSE within the gas, construction, or underground works sectors.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to chair committees and lead teams.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, safety enforcement, and industrial HSE regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work strategically, with authority to influence site operations.

Activities

• Lead and manage the HSE risk prevention team on site.
• Chair steering committees related to HSE and operational safety.
• Develop, implement, and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and rules.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industrial standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation.
• Promote HSE culture through animation, training, and awareness campaigns.
• Monitor and report on safety performance indicators.
• Provide guidance and authority to site managers to ensure adherence to HSE standards.
