Job Summary

The Operations Head - DMC will lead the strategic development and promotion of our destinations, enhancing visitor experiences and driving sustainable tourism. This role is essential in fostering relationships with local stakeholders, optimizing resources, and ensuring the destination’s growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive destination management strategy that aligns with organizational goals and promotes sustainable tourism practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local governments, tourism boards, businesses, and community organizations to foster collaboration.
  • Oversee the development of marketing campaigns to promote the destination, targeting specific demographics and markets.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the visitor experience through product development, services, and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Monitor tourism trends, visitor statistics, and feedback to inform strategy and decision‑making.
  • Promote environmentally responsible practices and initiatives that support the long‑term sustainability of the destination.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in destination management, tourism, or hospitality, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and collaborative project management.
  • Strong understanding of tourism marketing, branding, and economic development.
