Guard Force Commander (GFC) (G)Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct guard operations daily under the guidance of DS/RSO.
- Plan, manage, and evaluate guard force operations.
- Ensure all guard personnel are aware of and follow all post and general orders.
- Coordinate with PRS leadership.
Qualifications:Bio approval requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen or TCN, as specified in the TO.
- Demonstrate Level 3 English language proficiency.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a military officer or NCO (E-6 or above) or equivalent law enforcement/armed guard supervisory experience.
- Experience in physical security, access control, and force protection, similar in scope to the TO requirements.
- Experience can be from federal, state, provincial, local, or commercial armed guard services with skills matching those outlined in WPS III IDIQ, Attachment 2.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or an additional four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Attend and complete a supervisory course as per WPS III IDIQ, Attachment 1.
Pre-employment requirements:
- Complete the guard training course outlined in WPS III IDIQ, Attachment 2.
- U.S. citizen and TCN guards must qualify with specified weapons as per the TO and re-qualify as needed.
- Obtain and maintain necessary security clearances or vetting.
- Complete the Physical Readiness Test at 65% performance level and maintain fitness.
- No travel impediments to dangerous or unhealthy countries or the assigned countries.
