Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, focused on financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of French GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of French accounting for a French entity is a must.

Your role

A key member of a dynamic professional team of PayByPhone, with responsibility for management accounting and control of the business to contribute to internal reporting, planning, and analysis.

What you'll be doing

Corpay is currently looking to hire an Accountant within our Vehicle Payments division. This position falls under our PayByPhone line of business and is located in Boulogne-Billancourt. In this role, you will be an integral part of our global tax team, contributing to a wide range of international tax matters, including compliance, advisory, acquisitions, and transfer pricing, focused on the UK and EU regions. You will report directly to the Financial Controller and regularly collaborate with the international accounting team of PayByPhone.

As an Accountant, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Preparing and overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Performing account reconciliations and ensuring the accuracy of financial data.
  • Managing the general ledger and overseeing timely and accurate transaction postings.
  • Conducting variance analysis and providing financial insights to management.
  • Handling analytics reporting, including Line of Business (LOB), department, and localization accounting.
  • Working within an international financial environment.
  • Coordinating and supporting external audits and tax preparation.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assisting other departments with financial requests and inquiries.
  • Supporting payroll processing
Qualifications & Skills
  • Master’s degree in accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of French GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge of French accounting, working for a French entity is a must.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with NetSuite Oracle is a plus.
  • Adaptability and openness to change.
