You’ll join our Group Finance / FP&A team, at the heart of strategic decision-making. The team’s mission is to:
- Provideclear, forward-looking financial insights to Executive Management and operational leaders.
- Ensurerobust, consistent financial steering across multiple entities and geographies.
- Drivecontinuous improvement, automation, and professionalization of our controlling and planning processes.
As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will report directly to the Chief FP&A and work closely with Accounting, Cash, Group Finance, and business leaders. This is a highly visible role with exposure to C‑level stakeholders and cross-functional projects.
Your mission is to provide reliable, insightful, and actionable financial analysis across Wakam’s French perimeter and Group Finance scope. You will be a key contributor to monthly reporting, quarterly closings, budgets, and forecasts, with a particular focus on multi-entity consolidation and overheads management.
Multi-Entity Consolidation
You will:
- Centralize, review, and consolidate financial data from various entities (P&L, operational KPIs).
- Ensureconsistency of management practices and chart of accounts across entities, including intragroup rebilling alignment.
- Produceconsolidated analyses (margins, profitability, costs by entity / business line, etc.) and proposeoptimization levers in collaboration with the FP&A team.
- Contribute to thecontinuous improvement of data collection and financial reporting processes to enhance quality, speed, and reliability.
In close collaboration with another overheads controller, you will:
- Set up, monitor, and analyzeoverheads reports (by nature, by department, by cost centre).
- Build and challenge thebudgets of operational and support functions, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategy.
- Identifyvariances vs. budget / forecast, propose correctiveaction plans, and monitor their implementation with stakeholders.
- Actively contribute tocost optimization, focusing on spend efficiency and tracking achieved savings.
You will help professionalize and scale the controlling function by:
- Participating in theoptimization of reporting, closing, and planning processes.
- Making thebest possible use of our tools (Sage, Pigment, etc.) to automate reporting, improve data reliability, and streamline work.
- Proposing and implementingnew performance indicators that are relevant to our business and strategy.
🧠 What You Bring
You bring a strong financial and analytical toolkit, ideally in a multi-entity or group context:
- 5+ years of experiencein Financial Planning & Analysis, controlling, or similar roles, preferably at group or multi-entity level.
- Solid experience withP&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proven ability toconsolidate and interpret complex financial data, turning it into clear insights and recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skillsand strong command of financial tools and systems.
- Experience withSage and/or Pigmentis a plus.
- Experience in theinsurance sectoris an advantage, but not mandatory.
- Fluency in English(written and spoken); other European languages are a plus.
