Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a senior security staff to support compliance and international security requirements supporting The Aerospace (Aerospace) – Civil Systems Group (CSG) and The Aerospace Corporation UK, Ltd (TACUK). As a key member of our multidisciplinary security team, you will lead CSG and TACUK through information protection and foreign disclosure activities in accordance with the Department of Commerce, Office of Director of National Intelligence, Department of State, and Department of War (DoW) policies, regulations, and instructions. This position will serve as a trusted advisor, leveraging critical thought and technical depth to navigate and bridge complex regulations that drive mission and deliver strategic business outcomes for Aerospace and our customers and locations.

The selected candidate will be required to work full‑time, onsite at our location in Chantilly, VA or Crystal City, VA.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Formulates plans, policies, procedures and other documentation required to conduct foreign partner integration operations and meet regulatory compliance requirements related to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Technical Assistance Agreements (TAAs), Delegation of Disclosure Authority Letters (DDL), and other security and trade compliance regulations.
  • Partners with corporate stakeholders (e.g., general counsel, contracts, people operations, enterprise information systems, and international programs) to support strategic initiatives and help drive decisions to enable positive business outcomes related to Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), and Aerospace international advisory activities.
  • Maintains liaison with designated government representative to ensure foreign disclosure procedures, policies, and training are properly coordinated, and consistent with international agreements or other regulatory requirements as it pertains.
  • Assists with Staff Assistance Visits and other local inspections as required.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements for the Foreign Disclosure Staff IV :
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years of equivalent work experience
  • 8-10 years of related experience with Information Protection and Foreign Disclosure up to the SCI Level.
  • Current Top‑Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility. Willingness to submit to a poly.
  • Well versed in applicable regulations including: NISP, ITAR, EAR, DoDD 5230.20, DoDI 5530.03, DAFI 16‑201 and DAFI 10‑1801 to support foreign military sales (FMS) and direct commercial sales (DCS).

In addition to the above, the minimum requirements for the Foreign Disclosure Staff V include :

  • 10+ years of related experience with Information Protection and Foreign Disclosure up to the SCI Level.
