Job Title: FOPS Instrumentation Leader

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve instrumentation-related technical proposals for Hull, Mooring, Process, Utilities, and Subsea packages under FPSO/EPSCC, Subsea, and O&M contracts.
• Ensure instrumentation systems meet reliability, availability, maintainability, safety, and cost objectives. This includes reviewing failure modes, maintenance plans, spare parts and tools, and ensuring fitness for purpose and integrity of facilities in compliance with Company, international, and regulatory standards. Ensure all required data are available for operations and maintenance, support commissioning activities, establish baselines, and collect technical records. Coordinate with the Maintenance department to ensure alignment with company policies and to prepare the handover of responsibilities.
• Demonstrate exemplary HSEQ behaviour and act as SECE Guardian for instrumented systems. Ensure conformity, certification, and implementation of Safety Critical Elements maintenance. Validate and optimize maintenance strategies and plans.
• Approve and monitor instrumentation maintenance strategies, including spare parts, maintenance plans, outsourcing, and obsolescence management. Identify design issues and propose improvements. Ensure maintenance engineering supports availability and cost targets, including effective use of CMIMS. Provide technical support to sites, manage discipline reporting, and review maintenance-related engineering documents. Contribute to commissioning strategies, operational test procedures, OPEX optimization, and contractor personnel evaluation and training alignment.
• Act as the instrumentation technical focal point for projects and contracts, ensuring coordination with discipline headquarters. Review contractor maintenance systems, stock policies, and technical requirements. Share reliability and availability analyses, contribute to audits, lessons learned, and recommendations for future contracts.

Required Expertise

• Engineering Bac 2 level (Engineer)
• Experience in Instrumentation and management (over 5 years), oil production knowledge.
• Reliability, autonomy, analytical, organizational capacity and leadership
• Languages: French or English correct (> 3.5/5)
• Very good knowledge of the Instrumentation Maintenance systems in offshore industry.
