A European space tech company is looking for a Flight Engineering Software Development and Validation Engineer based in Paris. This role involves 6dof flight simulations and the development of aerospace software solutions. Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in aerospace tools and proficiency in programming languages such as Matlab and C/C++. Responsabilités

  • Conduct 6dof flight simulation.
  • Contribute to global simulation suite development.
  • Prototype and test in-house solutions.
  • Integrate external physical models in simulations.
  • Collaborate with the Avionic team for GNC integration.
  • Participate in simulation campaigns for launcher GNC testing.
  • Involve in hardware demonstration test campaigns.

Flight Engineering Software Development and Validation Engineer

Inside MaiaSpace you will join the team that defines and validates the GNC algorithms. You will participate to the 6 dof flight simulation capability, from tool development to simulation campaigns, up to GNC algorithm integration and validation.

In this perimeter your responsibilities will include:
  • 6dof flight simulation
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the global simulation suite for MaiaSpace software factory.
  • Prototype, develop and test in house solution to cover the needs.
  • Integrate and implement external physical models (mechanical, propulsive, dynamics, ...) in the 6-dof simulation environment.
  • Teamwork with Avionic team to integrate GNC and flight management sequence in the 6-dof Loop.
  • Participate to simulation campaigns and their exploitation for testing, development, qualification and operation of the launcher GNC.
  • Participate in the development of hardware demonstration test campaigns to validate the selected concepts in collaboration with the production teams.
