Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4+ years of finance and accounting experience required.
  • Experience in the IVD or Life Sciences industry is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of ERPs and data visualization tools.

Description du poste

Partners with functional and business leadership and peers in driving business performance to meet short and long term objectives.

Lead and support monthly closing activities including journal entries, accruals, reporting, and analysis processes.

Ensure local tax requirements supported by site teams are completed on a timely basis.

Ensure compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, company policy, and standard operating procedures; recommend changes to strengthen the control environment.

Support internal and external audit requirements.

Drive continuous improvement and utilize systems to increase controls and efficiencies.

Identify and lead process improvements and system implementations.

Listen proactively and collaborate across functional lines.

Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Analyze financial and business performance against key metrics and financial highlights to assess progress against strategic plans and budgets.

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting is required.
  • Possess excellent academic credentials and strong financial competence.
  • Experience in the IVD or Life Sciences industry is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of finance and accounting experience.
  • Deep understanding of ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Cognos).
  • Working knowledge of financial accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
