• Extensive experience as a field service engineer, ideally with research/clinical or diagnostics equipment.
• Solid understanding of electronics, mechanics, fluidics, and optics.
• Experience with imaging, flow cytometry, or cell sorting equipment is an advantage.
• Organizational and planning skills with technical problem-solving capability.
• Ability to travel regionally and occasionally internationally.

Job Description

• You will carry out preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and updates of equipment and training on equipment intended for the fields of research and clinical.
• You will provide on-site assistance in troubleshooting and repairs.
• You will ensure the functionality and safety of research and clinical equipment in accordance with current specifications and regulations.
• You will write technical documentation and intervention reports.
• You will manage your car stock and work closely with the sales and applications team to provide excellent customer support.

Qualifications

• You have a bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, and mechatronics engineering. You have extensive experience as a field service engineer ideally with a background in research/clinical or diagnostics equipment.
• You have a solid understanding of electronics, mechanics, fluidics, and optics. Basic knowledge of natural sciences, diagnostics, therapeutics, and biology is desirable.
• Experience with imaging, flow cytometry or cell sorting equipment is an advantage.
• Fluency in (technical) English and French is essential. Knowledge of IT tools (hardware and software) is required.
• You will have a quality customer service, organizational, and planning mindset, combined with the ability to technically analyze the problems to be solved. You will travel regionally and domestically with occasional international travel.
