European Sales Director

Aerospace Component Distribution

France

Circa €135,000 base salary + package

We are supporting a global aerospace component distribution operation in the appointment of a European Sales Director to drive new business growth and shape the European sales strategy.

This is a hunter-led leadership role. The successful candidate will be personally accountable for winning new customers, developing new distributor relationships, and setting the commercial roadmap for Europe, alongside leading a regional sales team and interfacing with a wider global distribution operation.

The role is France based and requires easy access to a major international airport due to frequent European and global travel.

Key responsibilities
  • Personally lead new business development across Europe
  • Define and execute the European sales strategy and growth roadmap
  • Identify, qualify, and secure new OEM, Tier 1, and MRO customers
  • Build and expand distributor partnerships and routes to market
  • Lead, coach, and performance manage the European sales team
  • Own European sales forecasting, pipeline management, and revenue growth
  • Work closely with global distribution, operations, and supply chain teams
  • Represent the business at senior customer engagements and industry events
Candidate profile
  • Strong hunter background within aerospace component distribution
  • Demonstrable track record of winning new business in Europe
  • Experience selling engineered, regulated, or catalog aerospace components
  • Comfortable opening doors at OEM, Tier 1, and MRO level
  • Able to balance personal sales activity with strategic leadership
  • Experienced in managing multi-country sales teams
  • Commercially sharp with strong negotiation and deal closing capability
  • Fluent French and English essential
  • High travel flexibility
