Design Manager - Execution - Data Centre Business Unit - Paris

An established business that supports major clients in France and internationally through the design, construction, and renovation of high-performance Data Centre facilities, are currently looking to strengthen their Pre-Construction Department with an experienced Design Manager.

This is a key position at the crossroads of technical expertise, project coordination, and strategic development, and as the successful Design Manager you will contribute to projects from early concept phases through the full execution stage.

You will act as the technical guarantor of design quality and consistency, ensuring that all studies align with operational, contractual, financial, and environmental expectations.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leading and coordinating all execution-phase studies for a major Data Centre projects
• Guarantee the proper development and integration of all-trades (TCE) studies for large-scale industrial buildings
• Ensure the consideration of operational constraints (health & safety), environmental requirements, technical risks, and contractual commitments
• Assemble the technical pricing and coordinate study inputs
• Supervise internal and external engineering contributors
• Lead design and costing studies
• Propose value-engineering ideas and innovative alternatives

Ideal skills and experience:

• Engineering or university degree with 10 years of experience in TCE building projects, technical packages, or execution studies/works
• A technically driven professional with a passion for innovation and optimisation
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, fluent in French and English
• Solid technical knowledge of building systems and technical lots (electrical, HVAC) as well as execution studies
