Qualifications

• 2/3+ années d'expérience en installation de câblage structuré.
• Compréhension des équipements de test de câbles variés.
• Capacité à soulever jusqu'à 16Kg.

We are expanding our Data Center Cabling Technician team in France. This is a unique opportunity to work in some of the most innovative and fast paced data centers in the world.

The Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for the scaling and physical deployment of new data center infrastructure. As part of that team, you will be responsible for,

• Installing cabling and new racks within the data centers.
• Troubleshooting Cabling Infrastructure.
• Adhere to standard processes and best practices.

You will be working in a team environment and must be able to communicate and promote cross-team functionality.

Key job responsibilities

• Installation and testing of copper and Fiber Optic cabling.
• Basic build and troubleshooting of network devices.
• Creating / attaching labels and barcodes.
• Managing inventory of related materials.
• Adhering to defined escalation processes and standard operating procedures.
• Adhere to security and safety best practices in the data center.
• Regularly work at heights and from ladders.
• Work in noisy areas with hotter and colder temperatures than standard office environmental conditions.

Qualifications

• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 2 / 3+ years of structured cabling (Copper / Fiber) Installation and / or Network technician experience.
• Complete understanding of industry cable test procedures and equipment for a variety of different cabling systems (Copper / Fiber test equipment, OTDR, Network analyzer, VFL etc.)
• Ability to work at heights, off of a ladder and in confined spaces, lift up to 16Kg with equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Data center structured cabling infrastructure experience.
• Data center Infrastructure knowledge.
• Familiar with Ticketing System (ServiceNow, etc.).
