Your daily life
The Toulouse site is responsible for satellite systems engineering, the design and production of payloads, as well as the development and qualification of ground segments. It includes a research center and an industrial accelerator for start-ups and ventures.
Attached to the Digital Solution France Competence Center, you will participate in the Digital Transformation of the company, in particular around the Cybersecurity compliance of our systems and services.
You will be responsible for the following missions:
- Promoting Cybersecurity culture within product and program teams.
- Cybersecurity expertise for products and their implementation programs.
- Verification of the application and compliance with the group’s Cybersecurity rules within the product lines.
- Definition and implementation of Cybersecurity-related activities in the product security management plan and the programs implementing it.
- Carrying out iterative risk analyses during the various design stages.
- Definition of the security requirements of the product or implementation program, based on the risk analysis(s) carried out.
- Participation in the definition of the general architecture of the product and the architecture of each implementation program to ensure that cybersecurity and the necessary functions are taken into account across all components by the architect(s) responsible for defining the solution.
- Validation of the adequacy of the architecture and security means defined by the architects and the level of security to be achieved (coverage of the requirements and risks identified by the risk analysis).
- Monitoring the implementation of security functions during the various design and program implementation phases with the internal or external production teams (and definition of testing methods).
- Production of key cybersecurity monitoring indicators for the program.
- Management and monitoring of product or program security incidents, with reporting to the company’s cybersecurity governance.
- Participation in various internal or external product and program reviews.
Your profile
A graduate of a computer engineering school or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in the field related to cybersecurity issues is required.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity architecture in one of Thales Alenia Space’s industrial space sectors such as Navigation, telecommunications, observation or space exploration within a major contract is expected.
- Your mastery of English allows you to converse in this language and write technical documents.
- You are mobile for short-term trips in France and abroad.

You have good knowledge of:
- in systems engineering and in particular space systems.
- in risk analysis (EBIOS RM in particular) and vulnerability management (tools and processes).
- in architecture and cybersecurity solutions, particularly in Cloud environments (IaaS and PaaS layer).
- des standards NIST 800-53, MITRE @ttack, SPARTA, Threat Modeling…
- of the applicability of Cyber on Legacy or low TRL or Industrialized Products.
