ABOUT THE TEAM

You will be part of the foundational team for Tide in France. This is a rare opportunity to build a business from the ground up, shaping everything from product-market fit and local strategy to the team’s culture with a direct and visible impact on our success. We operate as a nimble, fast-paced new market in France with the full backing, brand recognition and proven technology of a global fintech leader.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an exceptional Lead of Country Operations to be both a strategic and operational partner to the Managing Director of Tide France driving key initiatives and ensuring the seamless execution of business priorities. You will work hand in hand with the France MD on internal and external communication to promote Tide's growth and brand awareness in France.

Responsibilities

Some of the things you’ll be doing :

  • Strategic Support: Work closely with the Managing Director to set and track strategic goals ensuring alignment across teams. Act as a trusted advisor by providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  • Performance Management: Constantly track and analyse key KPIs to support Tide’s success in France. Drive business process reviews and assist in planning and delivering growth strategies.
  • Organisational Development: Help scale the Tide country organisation establishing and improving operational processes. Work with various Tide teams to support French operations including opening a Paris-based office.
  • Projects and initiatives: Oversee and coordinate cross-functional initiatives tailored to the French market ensuring close collaboration across global and regional teams. Lead special projects including business case development.
  • Market Expansion: Monitor market trends, competitor activities and regulatory developments in France translating insights into actionable strategies. Support the launch of new products and services tailored to the French market.
  • Communication: Prepare internal and external presentations and support PR activities to enhance Tide’s presence in France. Represent Tide at external events and act on behalf of the Country Managing Director when required.
Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You have 7 years’ relevant experience in a similar role such as Chief of Staff, Senior Project Manager or Operations Lead, preferably in fintech, consulting or high-growth scale-up environments.
  • You have the ability to see the big picture while managing intricate details and ensuring flawless execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.
  • You’re comfortable working in a fast-moving company where priorities can change and processes may need to be created from scratch.
  • You have very strong project management skills and can foster collaboration with teams outside of your direct control by building strong relationships.
  • You have a strong Hands-on-Mentality, getting things done and you are highly self-motivated.
