Corporate SMS Responsible (f/m) – Toulouse, France

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Corporate SMS Responsible (f/m) to join our Aviation Safety Governance Department. The role focuses on developing aircraft accident prevention and associated risk management at the corporate level, supporting the Airbus Corporate Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure efficient implementation across Engineering, Operations, Quality and other functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient operation of the Corporate SMS by identifying and managing systemic safety risks for accident prevention.
• Lead Multi‑Functional Teams (MFT) of SMS representatives across functions to mitigate safety risks due to organisational root causes.
• Coordinate systemic risks through the cross‑functional network of Safety Management System Officers in Airbus Commercial.
• Manage and monitor the SMS officers network at Functions level to ensure effective SMS implementation and the cascading of actions.
• Deliver safety training for SMS officers, provide accident prevention awareness and ensure appropriate internal and external safety information exchange.

Required Qualifications

• Confirmed experience in the field.
• Confirmed background in Aviation Safety Management System (SMS) – Mandatory.
• Stakeholder and project management skills.
• Risk management knowledge – Recommended.
• Negotiation level in English – Mandatory; additional language a plus.
