Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Compliance or Risk, ideally in fintech, crypto, or banking.
• Strong expertise in AML/CFT with a solid understanding of PSAN obligations and MiCA requirements.
• Comfortable working with AML/CFT tools.

The Role

As a Compliance Officer, you will own and drive Bitstack's compliance framework across key regulatory areas, ensuring we scale safely while delivering a seamless user experience. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Support to embed compliance into our operations and product decisions.

What You\'ll Be Doing

• Lead regulatory compliance across MiCA, EME, AML/CFT, TRACFIN reporting, and GDPR.
• Maintain and improve our internal compliance policies and procedures, including KYC, risk scoring, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring.
• Oversee the handling of AML alerts and conduct investigations when needed.
• Manage and supervise the preparation and submission of TRACFIN reports.
• Build and maintain an internal control plan aligned with Bitstack's product and risk profile.
• Partner with Product, Tech, and Customer Support teams to ensure compliance is integrated into the user experience (and not bolted on afterwards).
• Monitor regulatory changes, anticipate upcoming requirements, and support preparation for AMF / ACPR audits and reviews.
• Train and educate internal teams on compliance topics and best practices.

What We're Looking For

• 5-8 years of experience in Compliance and/or Risk, ideally in a fintech, crypto company, payment institution, or bank.
• Strong expertise in AML/CFT, with a good understanding of PSAN obligations and MiCA requirements.
• Comfortable working with AML/CFT tools such as Chainalysis, Sardine, Marble, or similar platforms.
• Highly structured, autonomous, and analytical, with clear communication skills.
• Strong interest in crypto-assets and financial innovation.
• Fluent in English.
