Overview

Commissioning Manager - France, Paris - Permanent Contract

Our client is a provider of essential infrastructure. They own, develop and manage high quality, sustainable logistics properties and data centres in major global cities, that are critical to the digital economy. They have been developing their data centre capability since 2005 and have grown to become a large owner of powered sites globally.

Responsibilities

• The Commissioning Manager has overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of the commissioning package.
• This includes contractor design, procurement, contract governance, pre-construction, mobilisation, commercial aspects and delivery through to hand over with a defect-free ambition.
• They are to lead a safety-first culture as a priority, in all aspects of the commissioning package management process whilst working closely with the Project Lead.
• They must ensure that our client’s safety standards are applied in order to achieve the objective of zero accidents on their projects.
• They will operate in close consultation with the necessary stakeholders and departments, both internally and externally acting as a key interface for respective package or discipline.

Requirements

• Significant experience in delivering general contractor or developer roles on largescale projects (ideally data centres). Experience in managing complex projects would be a plus.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget with exemplary safety, quality, and sustainability records.
• Strong leadership, and decision-making skills as well as excellent communication abilities.
• Degree or equivalent in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Applicable Safety for Managers training.
