Job Requirements:
- Develop and foster Type III-glass business outside Europe in North America.
- Act as the primary contact for existing (inter)national customers, focusing on distributors at a strategic level.
- Identify new markets and acquire new customers to meet corporate goals.
- Collaborate strategically, solution-oriented, and proactively with B2B customers from offer to contract design to timely order processing.
- Build and maintain long-term, reliable customer relationships through personal contact.
- Advise major customers on technical, qualitative issues, and new product developments.
- Prepare strategic and operational sales plans for your region or customer base and implement the sales budget accordingly.
- Utilize data to evaluate sales and earnings and plan measures based on analysis.
- Work closely with the value chain from production in Europe to US customers, including customs and warehouses.
- Manage projects for strategic portfolio and product development based on customer and market needs.
- Coordinate internal and external interfaces effectively.
Qualifications:
- Degree in economics, industrial engineering, or a similar field, or comparable qualification.
- Extensive experience in the primary packaging industry (preferably in moulded glass, Food & Beverages, or distribution) with an established network.
- Alternatively, several years of inside sales experience with ambitions to develop into field sales.
- Project management experience in an industrial environment is preferred.
- Fluent in English; additional languages like German or Spanish are a plus.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with SAP R/3 SD is desirable.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a results-driven attitude.
- Technical understanding combined with customer-oriented communication and negotiation skills.
- Flexible, team-oriented, and confident demeanor.
- Willingness to travel up to 70%.

- Applicants must be located within the United States, preferably along the East Coast, especially in the Northeast. Experience may be considered in lieu of location.
