Account Manager - Microsoft Azure

In this role you would support both emerging and existing Microsoft Azure partners in expanding their customer base, particularly those in the early stages of developing their cloud services practice. The role will also play a pivotal part in onboarding new partners and enabling them to build out scalable, customer-aligned cloud solutions.

Core Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of partners, helping them to develop and advance with Azure services.
  • Hunt for new partners entering the cloud / Azure market, especially those transitioning from adjacent technology practices.
  • Target existing Azure infrastructure service providers with legacy licensing models for cloud conversion.
  • Assist in building compelling partner offers tied to high-impact use cases.
  • Activate partner engagement in key demand-generation activities and programmatic campaigns.
  • Promote the use of internal targeting tools and structured customer engagement assets to drive conversation and conversion.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 2+ years in partner-facing roles in IT sales, marketing, or business development
  • Familiarity with Azure platform ecosystems, infrastructure services, or managed service provider models
  • Understanding of licensing models and customer migration scenarios
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, both written and verbal
  • Passion for partner success and building scalable go-to-market strategies
Certifications & Training
  • Basic Azure platform certification (e.g., entry-level fundamentals) required within first 2 months
  • Advanced role-based certifications recommended (security, infrastructure, etc.)
  • Ongoing learning encouraged and supported through structured internal learning paths
