The EPOG-DN project offers 11 fully funded PhD scholarships for a 36-month doctoral program. Candidates will engage in interdisciplinary research on economic policies and ecological challenges, supported by financial allowances for living costs and mobility. The program promotes innovative approaches to sustainability.
Call for applications for the EPOG-Doctoral Network (2024–2028): 11 PhD scholarships are available, starting September/October 2024. Each position is a 36-month doctoral program.
The MSCA-funded EPOG-DN project aims to build a community of economists capable of interdisciplinary collaboration to address ecological challenges. It involves 8 full partners and 12 associated partners from various sectors and disciplines.
This project explores pathways toward achieving strong sustainability, where social, economic, and environmental objectives are integrated. It introduces the concept of global bifurcation, encompassing systemic and multidimensional processes, and proposes a systemic approach involving socio-technical, socio-economic, and socio-ecological perspectives.
Scholarships include a gross monthly allowance of €3,400, adjusted for living costs, and full social security coverage. Additionally, there is a mobility allowance of €600/month to cover travel and accommodation costs.
