This role is critical for ensuring seamless integration and performance of 3G, 4G, and 5G core systems, driving innovation and reliability in next-generation networks.
As a Core Network Engineer, you will join a high-performing team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining core network solutions. You will work closely with Huawei technologies, including SBC, IMS, and 5GC, to deliver robust and scalable network infrastructure. - Design, configure, and optimize core network elements for 3G, 4G, and 5G systems.
- Implement Huawei core network solutions (SBC, IMS, 5GC) in live environments.
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve critical network issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
- Provide on-call support during emergencies and special operational periods.
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Strong understanding of 3GPP standards for 3G, 4G, and 5G communication.
- Hands-on experience with Huawei core network projects.
- Ability to work overtime during critical incidents and provide standby support when required.
- Knowledge of VoLTE and VoNR technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud-native core network architecture.
- Experience with network security protocols and best practices.
- Certification in Huawei or other telecom vendor technologies.
- Previous involvement in large-scale network migration projects.
