Role: GAIN- Performance- Performance Graphic & Motions Ad Designer

Location: Spain

Hybrid / Remote: Hybrid - Based in Barcelona

We're looking for a Performance Ad Designer who blends creative craft with data‑driven thinking to create high‑impact visual assets for paid social. This role you'll design both static and motion ads tailored for performance, working closely with creative strategists to turn insights into scroll‑stopping visuals across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and beyond.

You understand the mechanics of performance marketing and know how to balance visual storytelling with platform best practices. Whether it's a direct response ad or a top‑of‑funnel brand piece you approach each project with a focus on conversion, engagement and creative innovation.

This is a hybrid design role ideal for someone who's as comfortable in Adobe After Effects as they are iterating based on CTR and Hook Rate data.

Key Responsibilities
Creative Execution & Asset Development
  • Design compelling static and motion ads optimized for performance across platforms including Meta, TikTok, YouTube and more.
  • Design AI-generated assets using tools such as Midjourney, Nano, Banana, Grok, Sora and VEO3 ensuring outputs match the brief, stay on brand and are technically viable for post‑production and platform delivery.
  • Translate creative briefs and strategic insights into high‑performing visuals that drive key metrics like CTR, Hook Rate and CVR.
  • Develop multiple creative variations for A/B testing and ad iteration, tailoring concepts to different audiences, placements and formats.
  • Maintain a strong sense of visual hierarchy, pacing and platform‑native design across all assets.
Collaboration & Creative Ideation
  • Partner with Creative Strategists and Paid Media Managers to bring data‑backed creative concepts to life.
  • Actively contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative reviews, bringing fresh relevant ideas rooted in cultural and platform trends.
  • Ask the right questions to clarify briefs and uncover creative opportunities, ensuring every deliverable is purposeful and aligned.
Optimization & Performance Feedback Loop
  • Regularly review performance data and creative test results, iterating on designs to improve engagement and conversion outcomes.
  • Collaborate with strategists and editors to refine visuals based on platform benchmarks and creative learnings.
  • Stay on top of evolving ad formats, design standards and performance trends, bringing a test‑and‑learn mindset to creative output.
Project Management & Delivery
  • Manage multiple design projects across clients and verticals, delivering high‑quality assets on time and within scope.
  • Ensure all creative meets brand guidelines, platform specs and quality control standards before handoff.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in performance‑focused graphic and motion design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating paid social ad design across platforms like Meta, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Ability to design and generate assets using AI tools like Midjourney, Nano, Banana, Grok, Sora and VEO3.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite—especially Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Premiere Pro.
  • Experience using collaboration tools like Figma, Notion and is a plus.
