Overview

The Opportunity

Given the explosive growth and proliferation of Public Cloud, Nutanix is ideally placed to help customers adopt Public Cloud more rapidly, at lower risk and gain a greater ROI. As a Southern Europe and MED Sales Specialist at Nutanix, you will be a solution sales leader within the Nutanix Hybrid Multi-Cloud Business reporting to the EMEA Hybrid-Multicloud Sales Leader. You will work directly with our sales organization to drive business with our most strategic customers. Furthermore, you will engage the expansive Nutanix partner network to grow new pipeline and sales for Nutanix Hybrid Multicloud solutions, primarily for AWS, Azure, Google and strategic cloud partners such as OVHcloud.

About the Team

The NC2 Hybrid Multi-Cloud Sales role is part of the Specialist Sales Organisation in EMEA. The team embodies a collaborative and empowering culture, encouraging members to teach and learn from one another while fostering open communication.

To enable the success of the Southern Europe & MED Sales Specialist role, you will be supported by our existing ProductTechnical Specialist as well as the field sales and SE’s (Systems Engineers) as well as an extended team of channel, alliances and PS resources to help demonstrate and prove our solutions and to achieve / exceed quarterly Nutanix NC2 sales and consumption targets in your assigned region.

Being part of this team will allow you to maintain and develop your deep cloud sales expertise across Nutanix and non-Nutanix technologies.

The EMEA sales leader for Nutanix Hybrid Multi-Cloud (NC2) is Rob Cowan -

Rob is known for their empowering leadership style that promotes autonomy and encourages team members to take ownership of their work. Whilst the role is remote with no mandatory office days, collaboration with the team and customers will mean visits to local offices as needed.

Your Role

The Nutanix SEUR & MED NC2 Sales Specialist is an individual contributor responsible for owning the plan for the success of Nutanix running on Public Cloud Hyperscalers.

In this role, you will have responsibility for the entire Southern & MED region including Spain, Italy, Switzerland & Israel. You are expected to be a hands-on leader and coach to deliver solution evaluations, orchestrate large deal structures, provide competitive knowledge and demonstrate business value to senior business stakeholders. You will also be required to drive expansion opportunities, support the construction of commercial deal proposals and ensure adoption plans are in place to drive consumption.

The role requires extensive travel, estimated at around 40 to 50% of the time, involving both in-country travel and cross-border trips between countries in the region. This travel will enable you to engage directly with customers, hyperscaler partners, and the broader reseller community, driving business outcomes and strengthening relationships.

  • Own the sales revenue and GTM plan for successful overachievement of targets and goals for NC2 in your assigned region which includes Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Israel.
  • Drive pipeline generation through Marketing, Channel and Field activation tactics in your assigned region, leveraging contract vehicles and partners.
  • Influence, lead, and shape customer decisions to buy and adopt Nutanix NC2, serving as a Solutions Sales Specialist and trusted advisor for end customers, field, and Channel Sales teams.
  • Be a thought leader on Nutanix hybrid multi-cloud and be the “face of Nutanix” in PR, blogs, other Social Media initiatives and events.
  • Drive adoption of Nutanix NC2 solutions by leveraging Product experts, Solution Architects, Nutanix Services and partners.
What You Will Bring
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in quota-carrying, hybrid / public cloud software roles
  • Be an ambitious, hungry and dynamic sales leader with a successful track record of over-achievement
  • Possess deep knowledge of virtualization and public cloud technologies, and experience working specifically with cloud hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google).
  • Experience working within the public cloud ecosystem and familiarity with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud service offerings and routes to market (including cloud marketplace)
  • Strong relationship management skills, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, influencing key stakeholders and collaborating across functions.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and ownership in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience selling new technologies and focus on product adoption and expansion.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce for managing and forecasting sales pipelines.
  • Experience engaging at the C-level and selling based on business outcomes.
  • Business fluent English is a requirement for this role.

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and / or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
