Requirements
- Research Field: History » Archaeology
- Education Level: Bachelor Degree or equivalent
- Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor in Archaeology
- Specific Requirements: Graduate in Archaeology with training in GIS, geophysical surveys, and non-invasive and remote sensing methods, as well as proven experience in archaeological interventions and material analysis.
- Languages: ENGLISH Level Good

- Performance of duties: Excavation and geophysical survey technician; documentation, study, and analysis of archaeological materials corresponding to the selected archaeological interventions within the General Research Project (PGI). Digitization and georeferencing using GIS
- Eligibility criteria
- Preferred merits: Master's Degree in Historical and Cultural Heritage
Selection process
- Master’s Academic Record (Maximum 3 points): Pass (5–6) 1 point; Good (7–8) 2 points; Excellent or MH (9–10) 3 points
- Professional Experience (Maximum 3 points): Participation in research projects (Up to 1 point); Leadership or technical team involvement in archaeological interventions and material analysis (Up to 1 point); Publications and conference attendance (Up to 1 point)
- Specific Training (Maximum 3 points): Courses in GIS, new technologies in archaeology, non-invasive methods, and remote sensing (Up to 2 points)
- Language proficiency: A1 0.25, A2 0.5, B1 0.75, B2 1 (Up to 1 point)
- Personal Interview (Maximum 1 point)
Additional comments
In compliance with Section 8 of the Resolution of the University of Huelva of December 17, 2024, which establishes the legal basis and schedule for the publication of public tenders for personnel contracts for the realisation and execution of projects, grants, agreements and contracts with third parties of fixed duration for the year 2025 (BOJA No. 246 of December 20, 2024), the application must be accompanied by the following documents in order for the applications to be included in the lists of admitted and excluded applicants and be submitted to an oficial Registry:
- A. Photocopy or digitised copy of passport, National Identity Number (DNI), Foreigner Identity Number (NIE), or equivalent document for citizens of the European Union.
- B. Photocopy or digitised copy of degree certificate.
- C. Photocopy or digitised copy of certified academic transcript listing courses and grades received in the degree.
- D. Resume.
- E. Photocopy or digitised copy of documentation verifying merits included in resume.
- F. If the application is submitted to a registry other than that of the University of Huelva, a scanned copy must be sent to unidad.pti@sc.uhu.es, along with receipt of submission, in order for the applications to be included in the lists of admitted and excluded applicants.
