Treasury & Accounting Specialist - Full Time - Madrid, Spain

Responsibilities

To join our GF_Finance & Controlling, Accounting team in Spain to process all accounting operations in the Back Office Treasury area and the accounts for finance companies.

  • Verification and reconciliation of financial transactions, including foreign exchange and money market transactions.
  • Handling financial accounts and preparing monthly financial statements in compliance with IFRS and OR.
  • Managing payments, bookings, and bank account reconciliations.
  • Processing tax-related matters and preparing interest calculations.
  • Providing general accounting support, including creating reports, managing discrepancies, and maintaining master data.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, autonomous, team-oriented, customer-oriented, conscientious and diligent, open to change, confident, discreet, resilient, aptitude for numbers.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • 2-4 years in Back Office Treasury, 2+ years in Accounting, multiple areas of responsibility, no leadership experience required.
  • Professional and technical knowledge in MS Office Excel (formulas, functions, pivot), SAP FI/CO, and TMS IT2 (advantageous).
  • English (B2/C1 Advanced), German (B1 Intermediate).
  • Organizational talent and negotiation skills not applicable.
