A global security technology company is seeking a Technical Product Manager for IoT Devices in Sant Joan Despí. At G+D Mobile Security, a world leader in secure telecommunications systems, we are looking for a Technical Product Manager IOT Devices to join our team in Barcelona.
As a Technical Product Manager, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of an IoT device while driving cross-product initiatives. This role blends deep technical expertise with a strong product vision, ensuring market, technology, and regulatory requirements are transformed into commercially successful and technically robust solutions.
Define and manage product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for IoT devices
Translate market and customer needs into technical specifications and features
Prioritize development tasks in alignment with Engineering and Management
Coordinate new developments with Lead Engineer and System Integration Engineer
Support cross-product topics such as sensor technology and platform strategy
Create and maintain product requirement documents (PRD, specifications)
Evaluate technical concepts, design variants, and supplier solutions
Oversee certification and testing activities (e.g., ATEX, EMC)
Monitor product performance, field feedback, and quality metrics
Drive product improvements and redesigns based on data and insights
Act as a key interface to Sales, Marketing, and Operations for market readiness
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or similar
5+ years in technical product management, engineering, or IoT/industrial product development
Strong understanding of electronics, sensors, firmware, and mechanics
Experience with product roadmaps, requirements management, and development processes
Knowledge of standards, certifications, and quality management (ATEX, CE, EMC) is a plus
Proven experience with external development partners and suppliers
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
Technically skilled with a strong business mindset
Structured, decisive, and able to prioritize effectively
Strong communicator across multiple technical disciplines
Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented
A collaborative team player with a focus on execution
