FUNCTIONS

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories, based on market intelligence and business needs (spend approx. 500M)
• Monitor key markets and analyze price trends, supply chain risks, and geopolitical factors that could affect raw material costs.
• Lead negotiations and close commercial agreements or long-term contracts with domestic and international suppliers.
• Collaborate with finance and risk teams to manage risk exposure, including financial strategies where applicable.
• Secure timely availability of raw materials while optimizing cost, quality, and service levels.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure product specifications and supplier performance requirements are met.
• Manage supplier performance through regular reviews and KPIs.
• Contribute to working capital optimization via inventory management and payment term negotiations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the company’s financial goals through leading efficiency programs.
• Maintain procurement reports and dashboards: cost savings, market analysis, contract status, supplier risk assessments.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University Degree.
• At least 10 years experience in similar position leading strategic sourcing projects in FMCG / Commodities companies.
• Strong understanding of global commodity markets and price drivers.
• Proficient in procurement tools.
• Data analysis skills; Power BI or similar tools are a plus.
• Strong contract management and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish. Additional languages are a plus.
