At QAD, we are looking for a Senior Web Engineer who is passionate about new technologies and wants to be part of the team developing and maintaining the QAD Champion Webapp, serving the primary AI use-cases for various products within QAD. As part of the Engineering team, based in the US and Europe, this role offers great opportunities to work on diverse projects and technologies with a wide range of teams. You will play a key role in a fast-paced project using agentic AI to accelerate delivery.

What you will do :

• Develop and enhance user experience with AI workflows supporting various QAD applications
• Complete delivery work committed during the sprint to achieve business goals
• Help the business maintain a competitive edge by leveraging the latest Web technologies
• Rely on feature flags to rapidly deploy and iterate on new features, reducing the risk of deploying software to production
• Provide subject matter expertise during incidents to resolve customer issues quickly
• Participate in forums to explore interests outside of sprint work and contribute ideas for system improvement
• Support the team and wider business in achieving goals

Qualifications

5+ years of Web Development, including 3+ years of Vue experience

Technical skills (must haves) :

• Deep expertise in Vue 3 and the Composition API
• Familiarity with Vite as a build tool and development server
• Proficiency in TypeScript for scalable, type-safe applications
• Expertise in Vue core libraries like Pinia and Vue Router
• Experience creating responsive UIs with Tailwind CSS based on Figma designs
• Commitment to quality with experience in unit and end-to-end testing
• Knowledge of Trunk-Based Development, Continuous Delivery, and tools like LaunchDarkly for feature flagging
• Strong understanding of the TypeScript ecosystem and libraries

Nice to Have :

• Docker
• Experience with Mock Service Worker (MSW) for API mocking
• Experience building CI / CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Experience with front-end monitoring tools like Datadog RUM
• Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) system architecture knowledge
• Experience generating endpoints from OAS
• Experience using agentic AI tools (Claude code, Copilot) to speed delivery
