The Amazon Business (AB) Pricing team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to help own and drive foundational areas of our program. This role will challenge you to dive deep, find innovative solutions and drive consensus across stakeholders. Amazon Business launched in 2015 with a vision to give businesses a simple, personalized and transparent online B2B experience. An extension of this vision was to simplify the integration for businesses connecting their e-procurement systems to Amazon Business, while giving them access to a broader selection of products and sellers.

Responsibilities
  • Own and drive evolution of key pricing programs and their foundations, including Business Discounts, Core Pricing Publishing, Vendor and Seller pricing tools.
  • Create mechanisms to track project execution and health in this space.
  • Help run-down and remediate operational concerns that may exist in these areas.
  • Lead in ambiguity, and solve hard, complex technical problems.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively align leaders across AB and Amazon on status and strategy.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
