Based in France, between Bordeaux and Toulouse, we are experiencing rapid growth (30% annually) while maintaining an exceptional employee retention rate of 95%. Our modern headquarters, inaugurated in 2023, houses dynamic teams united by a mission to illuminate the world sustainably.

The Opportunity

We are seeking our Southern Europe Prescription Manager for Architectural Solar Lighting to join the Aristophanes team, focusing on the South of Europe (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Croatia - the Balkan Peninsula). This role offers the opportunity to:

  • Drive the adoption of Nowatts Landscape and urban solar lighting solutions by influencing key B2B and B2G prescribers (architects, urban planners, landscape designers, real estate developers, technical consultants, and municipalities).
  • Ensure early-stage project integration, securing revenue through upstream specification while positioning Nowatt as the premium technical and design reference in urban and landscape lighting.

Core Missions:

  • Deploy Nowatts solutions by generating project pipelines and sales opportunities, embedding Nowatts products into the design phases of high-value urban and landscape projects.
  • Influence key prescribers and position Nowatt as the expert partner for high-end solar architectural lighting through technical advocacy, partnerships, and strategic lobbying.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prescriber Network Development: Prospect and nurture relationships with architecture firms, landscape studios, and municipalities; identify high-potential urban/landscape projects for Nowatt integration; conduct technical presentations (onsite/virtual).
  • Technical Support & Training: Train prescribers on solar lighting benefits (autonomy, sustainability, design); provide photometric calculations, case studies, and installation guidance; develop tailored tools (spec sheets, 3D renderings, samples).
  • Project Tracking & Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams to align on project needs; establish partnerships with industry associations (e.g., IFLA, ACE, municipal networks); represent Nowatt at trade shows (e.g., Nordic Urban Lighting events).
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor trends in sustainable lighting and competitor activity; share field insights to refine strategy.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of projects specified in design phases.
  • Growth in prescriber network (architects, municipalities, etc.).
  • Revenue secured from early-stage specifications.
  • Reduction in price competition on tenders due to upstream influence.
  • Market intelligence reports on trends and competitor activity.

What You Can Bring to Us

  • Education: Technical or business degree (Bachelor’s/Master’s) in Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning, Landscape Lighting Design, or related fields.
  • Experience: 5-10 years in technical sales, specification management, or business development, ideally in lighting, urban design, or architecture.
  • Technical Skills: Prescription strategy (targeting and prioritizing prescribers, leading technical meetings, CRM management); Architectural & Urban Lighting expertise (reading technical/photometric plans, knowledge of norms like EN 13201, urban regulations); Project management (tracking projects, coordinating with internal teams); B2G/Public Sector experience (bonus).
  • Digital & Linguistic Skills: Proficiency in LinkedIn and professional platforms; fluent in English; Spanish, Italian, or French is a plus.
  • Your Super Powers: Persuasive communication, proactive networking, autonomy and resilience, collaborative agility, aesthetic sensitivity, passion for travel (60%), technical savvy, and passion for sustainable design and urban innovation.
