About the role

As the Solution Architect, AP Automation, you will be responsible for designing, validating, and overseeing the delivery of automation solutions that meet client needs while aligning with our product capabilities and best practices. This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, while also managing timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations to ensure projects are delivered successfully, on time, and within scope.

You will partner closely with customers and internal teams from discovery through go-live, shaping the technical blueprint, leading solution design, and ensuring flawless execution. You will direct the overall architecture while also configuring integrations, writing scripts, and troubleshooting complex issues when needed. This is a senior customer-facing role where you will serve as both the trusted technical advisor and the driving force behind successful solution delivery.

You Are Likely to Succeed If

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in Solution Architecture, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Consulting roles, ideally in B2B SaaS or logistics technology.
• Proven track record designing and delivering complex system integrations.
• Strong understanding of APIs, EDI standards, data integration, and automation workflows.
• Project management experience or certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) and familiarity with Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or MS Project.
• Exceptional communication skills to bridge technical and business conversations.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects in fast-paced, customer-facing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Python, JavaScript, and familiarity with SQL.
• Knowledge of authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, API keys).
• Experience with iPaaS platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Celigo).
• Working knowledge of ERP, WMS, or TMS platforms (CargoWise, Descartes, SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics, Blue Yonder, Manhattan Associates).
