A leading sports technology firm in Madrid is searching for a top-tier developer to build AI-powered platforms for sports and health analytics. You will work across the stack using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Python. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, uses AI-assisted development tools, and values both structure and experimentation within an international team. This role offers creative freedom and collaboration with seasoned professionals in the sports technology sector.
You’re not looking for another job — you’re looking for a mission. You take ownership, move fast, and think beyond your IDE. You want to see your work shaping real products — used by athletes, coaches, and organizations at the highest level. You’re a top‑tier developer who thrives on solving complex problems and turning ideas into impact. You want to build something meaningful — not just ship features. You’ll be joining a highly experienced, international team that’s building advanced technology for some of the most exciting names in sports and performance. You’ll have a real voice in architecture, product, and direction — and your code will be part of something global from day one. You thrive in an environment where iteration beats bureaucracy, and bold ideas matter more than titles. You’re deeply curious about how AI is transforming software development — not just what it can generate, but how it can elevate human creativity, accelerate iteration, and push boundaries. You actively use AI‑assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude, Crush, Codex, etc.) and see them not as shortcuts, but as extensions of your skill — the future of engineering. If you’re the kind of developer who wants to build ambitious, world‑class products — not just work on them — you’ll fit right in.
Athlera is a sports technology company building the next‑generation platform for movement, performance, and learning. We act as an aggregator, connecting customers data, devices, and digital experiences across the sports, fitness, and health ecosystem. Our technology unites video, wearables, biomechanics, and AI‑driven insights into one intelligent layer that helps organizations, coaches, and athletes understand and improve performance. Everything we build is designed around the user — turning complex data into simple, visual, and meaningful experiences. Athlera has received great feedback from the industry and has signed agreements with several major partners — including national sports organizations, companies with apps and software platforms, and leading hardware manufacturers. This strong traction confirms our vision: to make technology an enabler, not a barrier, and to use AI where it truly adds value. We’re now scaling internationally, with our core team based in Gran Canaria and collaborations across Europe. Joining Athlera means becoming part of a company that combines deep technology, design, and human understanding — shaping how the world experiences movement.
