We’re known as the company where everyone wants to work, and we have the awards to prove it. If you’re passionate about outsmarting cybercriminals and working at a company where you can truly have an impact, we want you to join our team.

SailPoint empowers the largest, most complex organizations by putting identity at the Center of Security and IT. Our 2,000+ customers include global financial institutions, government entities, and pharmaceutical organizations.

Who You Are:

You are a resourceful, organized, and energetic professional with experience in Professional Services (PS) organizations. You will have worked closely with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to successfully complete project deliverables and align project resources with staffing requests. You embody our core values of Integrity, Innovation, Individual, and Impact and bring these with you in all your dealings.

What You’ll Do

The Senior Project Manager (PM) performs two functions within PS. As a PM, you will oversee the successful delivery of SailPoint solutions and ensure delivery teams are staffed and forecasted appropriately. By leveraging existing experience, the PM will gain a deep understanding of our SaaS and/or Software delivery and staffing models. Within the first two months, you will assist with Resource Management (RM) duties, work with the Resource Management Office (RMO) to manage project resourcing requests, and staff those projects with the right people in the right place at the right time. The PM will also begin leading customer engagements by coordinating project deliverables, including status reporting, forecasting, managing budgets, and coordinating project team activities.

After 6 months, you will have gained a strong understanding of our delivery methodology and will take on major PM duties for small-to-mid projects, including project kickoff, budget adherence, timelines, milestones, and risk management. You will also assume responsibility for RM duties in a geographical region where you will be responsible for most RM-related tasks.

Within 1 year, you will be expected to manage end-to-end project management duties, delivering multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity. Additionally, you will manage all RM activities within a given geographical area and can assist other RMs as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end project management for Recurring Services (and other PS) client engagements.
  • Prepare for and lead weekly staffing meetings, ensuring notes, actions, and follow-up items are captured, distributed, and completed.
  • Lead Weekly Resource Availability meetings with project and engagement managers to ensure resource allocation, availability, and forecast accuracy, with timely updates.
  • Manage client stakeholders and customer expectations, ensuring concerns, risks, and requirements are anticipated and addressed.
  • Facilitate the fulfillment of staffing requests and prioritize resource requests, working with RMO, leadership, and other team members to ensure the right person is in the right place at the right time.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (scope, status, schedule, budget, forecast risks, issues) in appropriate repositories.
  • Assist Engagement managers with Change Order content and process.
  • Provide regular updates on client performance to customers and SailPoint Management.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional work experience in an enterprise technology company, including 3+ years formal Project Management experience and 1+ years of Resource Management.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills. Experience working with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with essential Project Management duties (project planning, budget, scope, schedule, stakeholder, and risk management).
  • Experience managing projects across multiple teams and geographies to ensure engagements are delivered to specification, on time, and within budget.
  • Experience managing staffing across a large organization with up to 45 resources per geographic area.
Certifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) a plus
  • Resource Management Certified Professional (RMCP) a plus
