We are self-funded and committed to charitable giving, reinvesting in communities and aims to empower people to reach their full potential.

About You And This Role

Backend Software Engineer, with strong Java (or similar) knowledge and experience. You will work both on maintaining existing components and creating new ones. You’ll participate in the implementation and in defining the work itself, and we expect you to share your opinions openly from both user and engineer perspectives. You may mentor less experienced developers and lead some team stories and tasks.

You will work with frameworks and tools such as OS∂i, Gradle, JAX-RS, REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI, and some in-house technologies (like our custom REST Builder). We don’t expect you to know everything, but you should have strong learning abilities to acquire the necessary knowledge.

Key Objectives
  • You are willing to work in API infrastructure (GraphQL and REST), enabling teams worldwide to build powerful APIs. You’re an experienced Java developer, or you have worked with similar object-oriented languages.
  • You are used to working with large codebases and developing components from scratch.
  • You have experience with software engineering best practices: simplicity, testing, coherence, reviews, estimation, etc.
  • You possess a broad understanding of common Computer Science concepts (algorithms, data structures, performance).
  • You’re willing to actively participate in team dynamics and provide feedback—both technical and from the end-user perspective—when defining new features.
Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience writing enterprise-level code in one or more programming languages.
  • Strong learning skills; you are willing and able to learn new technologies.
  • Fully comfortable working in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Good communication skills; you can clearly explain complex technical subjects to others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in API infrastructure.
  • Understand and share the values of agile development.
  • Open to writing TypeScript for frontend applications (API Explorer and API Builder).
  • Contributing to open source, hackathons, meetups, or coding-related activities is a plus.
What We Offer
  • Perks: Health Care Plan, food Card, kindergarten assistance, Gym Membership, plus optional perks such as Transport Card, Office Parking Space, Digital Voucher (800€ annually)
  • English lessons (2 hours / week)
  • Continuous learning and training: internal and external courses, a technical library, participation in national and international conferences
  • International, multicultural and diverse environment focused on our people
  • Working at a leading open source company with an active community
