Formación

  • 8+ years project management experience in commercial furniture/fit out industry.

Overview

The Client
Our client is a well established, international organisation that is a leading furniture solution provider delivering product and related logistics to the contract furniture market across Australia and overseas.

Due to major projects coming up they are seeking to employ a Full Time Senior Project Manager in their Head office in Melbourne. This role is a Team leadership position, whilst also managing key projects and clients and being the face of the project management team nationally.

The Role

You will be instrumental in overseeing high impact projects whilst leading and mentoring a team of project managers. The role combines strategic project execution with team leadership, ensuring all projects meet deadlines, quality standards and budgetary requirements. You will be responsible for assigning projects, setting team KPI’s and providing ongoing support to ensure the team delivers exceptional results aligned with company objectives.

Skills Required

We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate the following skills;

  • Bach degree in project management, business or a related field.
  • 8 years + project management experience in the commercial furniture / fit out industry in Australia.
  • Min 3 years experience in a Team leadership and management position.
  • Strong track record of managing teams, setting performance metrics and leading from the front.
  • Superb communication, presentation and client relationship building skills.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong team player who is able to work with internal & external departments to rectify problems when they arise.
  • Previous experience managing and delivering hospitality furniture fit out projects a distinct advantage.
The Package

The starting salary package is between $180-200K + Super + Car Allow depending on experience.
