Senior Platform Engineer (EU)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with protocol, smart contract, and software teams to streamline development workflows and ensure high service reliability. You will lead architectural decisions, implement best practices, and improve observability and performance monitoring across multi-cloud and bare-metal environments. The position provides significant impact on platform stability, developer efficiency, and the successful delivery of critical products in a fast-paced, innovative ecosystem. Remote work is supported, with collaboration across European teams.

Accountabilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, multi-cloud and bare-metal infrastructure.
• Build internal tools and developer platforms to streamline software development and deployment workflows.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of infrastructure services.
• Maintain strong infrastructure security practices, compliance, and standards.
• Implement monitoring, observability, alerting, and performance optimization.
• Guide architectural decisions and promote infrastructure best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with software, protocol, and smart contract teams to assess risks and ensure robust delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure/platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles in high-standard environments (FinTech or Crypto experience preferred).
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm for Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Thanos, and Grafana.
• Experience with secure infrastructure management (Vault, KMS, or similar).
• Clear and confident technical decision-making, with excellent collaboration skills.
• Proven interest in Web3, blockchain, and cryptocurrency, with understanding of protocols, staking, and DeFi.
• Nice-to-have: experience building internal developer platforms, high-availability systems, user-facing API products, SOC2/ISO27001 environments, and data tooling (BigQuery, Airbyte, DBT).
