An established industry player is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join their corporate legal team in Madrid. This role is pivotal in supporting corporate governance and legal housekeeping for the Group's international operations. You will manage day-to-day governance tasks, assist in contract preparations, and ensure compliance with legal standards. The ideal candidate will bring at least 10 years of experience in a paralegal role, with a strong focus on organization and detail. Formación

ContourGlobal is an established Independent Power Producer developing, acquiring, and operating electricity generation assets worldwide. The company manages over 6.2 GW of installed capacity across various generation technologies in 18 countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America. With a renewable capacity of 27%, the company is committed to accelerating the decarbonization of its portfolio through a sustainable transition of its thermal fleet, repowering existing renewable assets, and organically developing new renewable projects.

The senior paralegal, reporting to the senior corporate legal counsel in Luxembourg, will be a key member of the corporate legal team. The role involves supporting the Group’s governance, Luxembourg and UK corporate housekeeping, and activities across the Group’s holding companies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the day-to-day corporate governance and reporting requirements of Group entities, including holding companies in Luxembourg and the UK.
  2. Assist with the preparation and review of contractual arrangements such as engagement letters, NDAs, contracts, corporate resolutions, and intercompany agreements.
  3. Maintain accurate and updated records of all Group holding entities in management tools and folders.
  4. Support activities related to internal reorganizations and ad-hoc projects, including preparing step plans, documentation, and internal approvals.
  5. Coordinate the preparation and reporting of legal objectives, litigation updates, committee reports, and annual accounts.
  6. Ensure compliance with governance policies and authority limits for transactions and financings.
  7. Perform other administrative tasks as required.
You Will Also Have
  • At least 10 years of experience in an administrative or paralegal role within an international environment.
  • Proficiency with database management tools.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written); French is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
  • A collaborative, agile, resourceful, and flexible team player willing to handle diverse responsibilities.
