Our novel printhead technology enables professionals to print using functional materials previously deemed impossible. As part of our team, you will be at the forefront of additive manufacturing technology, paving the way for the future.

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Engineer to :

Deliver innovative, high-quality, leading-edge solutions for the 2D / 3D Printing industry in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and multidisciplinary environment.

This position is located in Barcelona, with occasional travel requirements between Quantica sites or to customers, partners, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and develop electro-mechanical systems devoted to layer deposition of viscous materials, from concept generation to market introduction.

Collaborate with international colleagues and external partners & customers.

Deliver high-quality hardware design that is ready for production and functional requirements.

Guide and develop team members through technical guidance and documentation.

Drive execution planning and implementation of engineering processes and standards.

Required Skills :

Master's degree or above in mechanical engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 10+ years of experience in product design and development, ideally in printing or 3D printing-related industries.

Strong expertise in mechanical engineering principles and design, including concept and architecture development.

Excellent knowledge of ME fundamentals :

CAD, CAE, system modeling, prototyping, tolerance analysis, specifications (GD&T / ISO GPS), DFMEA, etc.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in industries such as automotive, medical, home appliances, or industrial machinery.

Knowledge of project management tools and practices.

Understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
