We're seeking a skilled Chief Engineering Leader to spearhead our high-growth engineering team.

This key role will be responsible for leading and growing a high-impact team, recruiting, mentoring, and managing engineers as we expand. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, reviewing pull requests, contributing to architecture, and writing production-level code.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team of around 10 members.
• Provide individual coaching and support career development across the team.
• Establish and maintain high standards for ownership, commitment, and impact.
• Implement AI tools and best practices to boost team productivity and scalability.
• Write production-level code and actively participate in development tasks.
• Review pull requests, contribute to key modules, and debug complex issues.
• Develop and promote a strong engineering culture focused on quality, velocity, and impact.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable and reliable system architecture.
• Evaluate trade-offs and select suitable frameworks and technologies.
• Align architectural decisions with business objectives.
• Implement monitoring, incident response processes, and blameless post-mortems.
• Ensure data security and privacy best practices are followed.
• Align the engineering roadmap with business goals in partnership with Product leadership.
• Balance team growth with operational discipline and startup efficiency.

Requirements :

• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
• Proven track record of managing and scaling engineering teams effectively.
• Previous experience in a startup, scale-up, or relevant side projects is highly valued.
• Hands-on background in code contributions, architectural design, and solving technical challenges.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure operations and CI / CD automation.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Strong technical background and experience with AWS).
• Strong product mindset with a focus on delivery and outcomes.
• Action-oriented with the ability to ship quickly without compromising quality.
• Experience defining and tracking engineering KPIs.
• Familiarity with monitoring, incident management, and operational excellence.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop engineering talent.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, design, and analytics stakeholders.
• Passion for fostering a culture of learning, ownership, and continuous improvement.
