Responsibilities

• Support accumulation management modelers in process and workflow automations.
• Build new and enhance existing applications with SQL, ensuring robust and high‑performance operations.
• Develop solutions for both local and global customers.
• Expand expertise in existing and new functionalities, applying best practices.
• Manage SQL development, including reading and executing SQL execution plans.
• Maintain and optimise SQL databases.
• Manage solution components and dependencies with upstream and downstream systems.
• Align solutions with application development and security best practices.
• Support testing and validation of changes.
• Oversee issue resolution and participate in defect triages.
• Support accumulation management modelers and collaborate with experts in various domains.
• Contribute to a team that values input and creativity.

Qualifications

• University level education or equivalent.
• Advanced level of English.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (reading and executing execution plans, housekeeping, monitoring, optimisation, performance management, implementation).
• Understanding of SSIS: ETL processes, automation, troubleshooting, dynamic SQL execution.
• Experience in orchestration (preferably Azure Data Factory).
• Experience in R language.
• Understanding of .NET, C#, and APIs.
• Experience with complex natural catastrophe modelling applications.
• Nice to have: understanding of CI/CD deployments.
• Nice to have: basic actuarial knowledge.
• Nice to have: basic understanding of Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.
• Soft skills and understanding of Agile methodology.
• Team collaboration skills.
• Analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
