The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in data science with a strong background in FMCG, proficient skills in Python or Scala, and the ability to deploy models in fast-paced, real-time environments. This hybrid role offers a dynamic work environment focused on real-world applications.

Formación

• 4+ years in Data Science, including 3+ in FMCG roles.
• Strong statistical knowledge with experience in causal inference and experiment design.
• Advanced Python or Scala skills, plus solid SQL proficiency.

• Build Real Time ML models for ETAs, risk prediction, and task acceptance.
• Design adaptive systems that respond to dynamic operational data.

I'm recruiting on behalf of a European tech company that is transforming the FMCG industry.

Why This Role Matters
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead the development of machine learning and optimisation models that directly impact performance across a large-scale delivery network. This is a hands-on role where your work goes straight into production and drives measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Build Real Time ML models for ETAs, risk prediction, and task acceptance

- Design adaptive systems that respond to dynamic operational data

- Develop and manage experimentation frameworks including A/B and switchback testing

- Apply optimisation techniques to routing and dispatch logic

- Deploy models in collaboration with engineering, ensuring scalability and stability

What My Client Is Looking For
- 4+ years in Data Science, including 3+ in FMCG roles
