What Is The Role

We are actively seeking a Customer Architect with hands-on experience in Observability, Cybersecurity, and Enterprise Search. A strong technical background, preferably in cloud-based software solutions, is required. You should be eager to adopt Elastic solutions and apply them to solve customer challenges. The role involves driving consumption of Elastic solutions, onboarding customers, securing adoption, and facilitating expansion.

You will act as a Trusted Technical Advisor, collaborating with customers and teams to ensure Elastic solutions meet expectations. You will define and communicate Technical Success Plans tailored to each customer’s goals and metrics, outlining steps for implementation and achieving desired outcomes, thereby guiding the customer toward success and satisfaction.

The role includes providing technical guidance, aligning objectives with business goals, removing technical frictions, and supporting smooth adoption and increased usage of Elastic solutions. A primary aim is to grow annual recurring revenue (ARR) through expansion and ongoing value delivery.

What Will You Be Doing

  • Collaborate with the account team to provide ongoing technical coverage while focusing on technical delivery and customer consumption.
  • Define the technical success plan for each customer to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure a successful technical customer journey from onboarding to adoption, driving continued Elastic consumption.
  • Articulate the value proposition of Elastic solutions and align with customer goals.
  • Identify and eliminate technical frictions to enable smoother adoption and implementation.
  • Coordinate with support to ensure optimized resolution and adoption progress.
  • Work with the Service Team to deliver technical solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Translate customer business needs into technical requirements for Elastic solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and hand off to the account team to grow ARR.
  • Foster ongoing customer relationships to increase Elastic usage and ARR.
  • Regularly review customer consumption and suggest upgrades and enhancements.
  • Onsite work with customers is required; travel is expected.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in roles such as Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, or Pre-sales Engineer; hands-on experience with Elastic solutions or equivalent technologies.
  • Experience with Elastic solutions (Observability, Security, Enterprise Search) or Elastic Stack and ability to align with business objectives is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build customer and team relationships.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
  • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
