The role

You will be a pivotal figure in the Procurement & Commercial department supporting the Asset Management (operations) business unit based in Spain, undertaking a strategic role to enhance operational excellence and cost-effectiveness across all contracts and sourcing activities. Join our team to lead and mentor, while driving improvements that matter.

You will

  • Lead and mentor a team, providing both direction and inspiration.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with primary suppliers and contractors.
  • Collaborate with various managers to optimize commercial and procurement strategies, demonstrating a cost-effective approach.
  • Post-contract commercial management including contract management, claims management and management of key supplier relationships.
  • Ensure rigorous adherence to safety standards and procedures across all operations.
  • Render comprehensive commercial support and ensure compliance with SSE’s stringent procurement and commercial policies.

You have
