A leading construction accounting firm in Madrid is seeking a Senior Accountant. You will maintain accurate project and corporate financial records, manage general ledger activities, and ensure compliance with IFRS and Spanish GAAP. The role requires at least 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on construction and project-based accounting. Proficiency in NetSuite ERP and advanced Excel skills are essential. This position is onsite in Madrid with competitive benefits.

Formación

• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in construction or project-based accounting.
• Solid knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven experience with job cost accounting and billing.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain project-based accounting records for construction projects.
• Manage month-end close processes ensuring accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements and performance reports.

Conocimientos

Spanish GAAP knowledge

NetSuite ERP experience

Advanced Excel skills

Project-based accounting experience

Communication skills in Spanish and English

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Master’s degree (a plus)
