A leading global aviation group is seeking a Senior Buyer in Madrid to manage the complete sourcing process. The role includes negotiating contracts and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize procurement strategies. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in procurement within complex organizations, particularly in the aviation industry. Purpose of the role :
The objective of the Senior Buyer will be to manage the end-to-end sourcing process to support airlines in the coordination of projects for the category and the implementation of category strategy related to goods and services.
This role includes working with stakeholders (inside and outside of Group Procurement) to standardise and simplify specifications, define sourcing strategy, analyse RFP output, negotiate commercial terms, and draft contracts. It covers all sourcing processes globally within the category, with key objectives including savings, cash improvement, transaction automation, e-Sourcing, supply base rationalisation, risk mitigation, and ensuring contractual coverage.
