Formación

Overview

SAP BASIS Delivry Manager

Pre-hiring position of 6 months

Context

In 2024, the Industrial Solutions Projects Business Group will separate from the Original Group to become an independent company. Our company, which became a reality at the end of 2024, boasts double-digit growth, prospects for expansion in sectors at the heart of the energy and industrial transition, with an international presence close to our customers. We manufacture and design cables and complex solutions for our industrial customers. With a balanced presence between Western Europe and Asia, and recent investments in Poland and the United States, our human-scale company is a local player with a global reach. Over the course of this year, we will be working together to define our new core model. Speed, responsiveness, simplicity and pragmatism will be at the heart of our approach. As part of our separation, we need to set up our own support teams for the central functions: Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Purchasing and Legal. More than 50 positions are being created to form new, autonomous teams. Purpose

The incumbent :

• Is the referent of the core model for his/her domain
• implements the core model,
• maintains the existing SAP solution,
• works in tight relationship with the SAP team and others external parties/suppliers.

Areas of responsibility

In this context, the missions of the SAP Basis delivery manager are:

• Delivery for SAP:
  • Define and enforce rules and norms for his field of expertise
  • Provide detailed documentation
  • Contribute to the SAP Core model definition and deployment
• Run for SAP:
  • Define and maintain printers in all landscapes
  • Maintain and schedule jobs in all landscapes
  • Process transport orders in different landscapes
  • Coordinate requests between Lynxeo and others parties (Hosting, SAP, partners, ...)
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Provide advice, assistance, information and training within her/his field of expertise
  • Ensure the limitation of the technical debt in his/her field of responsibility
  • Follow SAP Cloud roadmap
• Position sizing:
  • The SAP Basis delivery manager reports to the SAP Technical lead

Required skills and qualifications

• Master s Degree in major business school or engineering school or top-class University,
• Experience of 10+ years
• Confirmed experience (>3 years) on a consulting company or on a major company using SAP as Basis consultant or Basis delivery manager
• Strong knowledges on SAP Basis especially on transports, printers and jobs management
• Strong knowledges on network infrastructure
• Knowledge in SAP S/4 project implementation is appreciated
• Autonomy in the administration and maintenance with the assistance of contractors or vendor services,
• Works well in a team environment,
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills,
• Fluent English
