A global consulting firm in Spain is seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Expert to lead migration projects and optimize SAP systems. You will be responsible for managing complex technical issues and mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in SAP BASIS administration with experience in cloud transitions. This role allows you to thrive in an agile environment and contribute to various international projects.

Formación

• 10 years of experience as an SAP BASIS Consultant.
• Proven experience with SAP BASIS administration including HANA, SAP NetWeaver, ABAP, and JAVA components.
• Hands-on experience with RISE with SAP migration projects.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, implement, and optimize SAP systems to meet business requirements.
• Lead RISE with SAP migration projects and manage SAP landscape transitions.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues.

Qualifications

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?

• 10y SAP BASIS Consultant, with a strong track record in project delivery and Level 3 support.
• Proven experience with SAP BASIS administration, including HANA, SAP NetWeaver, ABAP, and JAVA components.
• Hands-on experience with RISE with SAP migration projects and transitioning SAP landscapes to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in HANA and Oracle database administration.
• Experience managing multi-landscape SAP environments, including system refreshes, upgrades, and support package applications.
• Advanced skills in performance monitoring, tuning, and systems configuration.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and optimize SAP systems to meet evolving business requirements.
• Lead RISE with SAP migration projects and manage SAP landscape transitions to cloud platforms, ensuring adherence to SAP Best Practices.
• Act as a senior escalation point (L3) for complex technical issues, ensuring high system availability and performance.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers, SAP functional teams, and infrastructure operations to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Manage multi-landscape SAP environments, including regular system refreshes, upgrades, and application of support packages.
• Configure and maintain SLD, SOA, CUA, and SSO for seamless SAP integration and operations.
• Research, design, and implement solutions for performance monitoring and tuning.
• Lead incident management and support, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues and SLA adherence.
• Mentor junior staff and foster collaboration across global teams.
